Music at the Big Tent

Music at the Big Tent comes alive in the Big Tent Hullaballoo when we will showcase some of Scotland's great talents and a whole variety of world music. All weekend. Headlining on Saturday evening is one of the UK's most respected singer-songwriters, King Creosote and the Fence Collective.

	His latest album Bombshell received incredible reviews - Album of the Week (The Sunday Times), Utterly Fabulous (The Independent).
	Closing the festival on Sunday evening will be the music festival dynamos the Peatbog Faeries, whose footstomping brand of celtic/electronica has delighted audiences worldwide.
	Rip roaring, with more footstomping Jewish Klezmer music performed by virtuoso musicians from the jazz, folk and classical idioms, Moishe's Bagel, make a welcome return to the Big Tent.
	Frank and Walters, music is happy, updbeat, indie. With catchy melodic guitar riffs, a terrific rhythm section and funky zany lyrics, each song is instantly likeable and are mini-classics in themselves.
	Voces Del Sur, Led by stunning Chilean singer & political exile Valentina Montoya Martinez, on the margins of mainstream culture & celebrating the musical roots of Latin America. The heart of South America in Scotland with seductively melancholic melodies & powerful dance beats.
	Nuala Kennedy and the New Shoes, Acclaimed flutist, singer & tunesmith Nuala sings in English, Irish and Scottish Gaelic with her rhythmical, earthly flute style very much of her own making, taking influences from her native Irish roots, Scotland's traditional music & her own imaginings.
	Based in Bonnie Dundee, Boogalusa are a six-piece band playing their own original brand of rootsy cajun americana. With heavy emphasis on dance-floor fervour, they have delighted audiences the length and breadth of the country.
