A unique green festival, music festival, arts festival, family festival - all-in-one.

As Scotland’s green festival we are building a movement for change, welcoming leading edge thinkers from Scotland and beyond to consider what each of us can do in the face of climate change, green issues and other environmental challenges.

Set on the beautiful landscape of Falkland Estate in the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland, Big Tent is a fantastic weekend of music, arts and family activities mixed with stimulating debates on social and green issues. Wash this all down with incredible food and drink in our One Planet Food Village which celebrates the best in organic food and drink and you have a very special weekend.

‘The Big Tent has firmly established itself as not only one of the most informative and entertaining green festivals around but also one of the friendliest and relaxed folk festivals in the UK. Surely this is the way all festivals should be.’ Folk Radio UK

We are delighted to be back after a wee break in 2011. We have a fantastic music line up with some world class music from the Proclaimers, Salsa Celtica, Karine Polwart, the Treacherous Orchestra and Breabach amongst many. . If you are interested in hearing about all the latest developments, then be the first to hear about all the latest green festival and music festival news with regular newsletters.

Tickets are on sale now - take advantage of our limted time only spring specials.
